Pre-Season Tune-Up -- Intermediates
Our Intermediate training group is for those who have completed at least 4 or 5 triathlons and you're ready to take it to the next level this spring. You are knowledgeable about all three sports plus transitions. We welcome ALL speeds. The biggest difference between Beginner and Intermediate will be the more advanced information that is given at the workouts, and the challenge level of the workouts and training schedule. This is a great program to enhance the fitness you already have!
Dates: March 2 through March 23
Locations: Vary by team (click on team name below to see locations)
At the group workouts: We'll focus on recovery from the winter season, then progress to strength training by incorporating resistance work into bike and run workouts
Training calendar: Will include swim, bike, and run workouts for the other days of the week
We'll be building your strength and endurance in all three sports so you can prepare for spring triathlons including the Danskin Women's Triathlon, Skeese Greets Women's Tri or The Rookie. We will also support those who are participating in other spring events, including the Capitol 10K, Rosedale Ride, and various supported cycling events.

- North Intermediate team -- Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8:00pm
- South Intermediate team -- Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8:00pm
- Weekday Morning Intermediate team -- Wednesdays, 9:30 - 11:00am
ALSO AVAILABLE: Peak Performance program, for those ready to take it up another notch and are looking for more aggressive training. Perfect if you're training for a Half Ironman (including Lonestar, Buffalo Springs, Barb's Race, Lonhorn) or Ironman.
All members of the Tri Zones Training pre-season tune-up will receive:

The Pre-Season Tune-Up will lead into our Spring Triathlon Training Session, beginning in on Tuesday, March 30.
We are USAT-certified coaches who know all about working with beginners -- we were on the Danskin race committee from 2000 - 2009 and we were the coaches for Team Danskin Training from 2003 - 2007.
