Triathletes have a lot to juggle in their schedule. The off season is a time to reflect on the past and plan for the future. It is also a great time to improve on your weaknesses without training long and hard.  This is why it is best to take a fun and learning approach to training during the winter months. The result could mean a sharp improvement in your next tri season! 

Swimming is probably 80% technique and 20% fitness and off-season is the perfect time to focus on building those skills.   We will review swimming fundamentals, assess your swim position, breathing, and balance as well as cover a basic drill progression.

Weekly workouts are open to triathletes of all ability levels, whether you are a total newbie or are a seasoned vet looking for a refresher.

  • Stroke mechanics in pool & open water
  • Balance/body position
  • Breathing techniques 
  •  Overall triathlon mechanics of swimming & kicking ‘Sighting’ techniques
  • Drills to do in between your class to improve your technique
